About
Keirsten Wingo

ACSM Health and Fitness Coach, RYT 200

My love for movement and wellness has been a life-long passion!

When I was five years old I saw gymnastics at the Olympics for the very first time. My mom told me I jumped up and ran to the TV trying so hard to copy those stunning gymnasts at home in our living room. My eyes wouldn’t leave the screen. I stood very close and began attempting the tricks in front of me. A floppy forward roll here and a sporadic jump there. My mom decided to enroll me in local gymnastics classes as soon as possible.

It turns out that moving my body with focus was something I loved!

I went on to get my Bachelor of Arts in Dance from UCSB, and am currently a Certified Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. I am also certified in one of the most effective forms of stretching, Active Isolated Stretching, and have studied and practiced yoga extensively.

My fitness background includes competitive gymnastics on a national level, performing with the nationally acclaimed Joffrey Ballet and with San Francisco based circus artists. I also enjoy the aerial arts, dance of all kinds, and running.

Fun Fact: I won the All Female episode of Fear Factor on NBC – a career highlight!

We’re all beautifully unique and I am passionate about helping you meet your wellness goals through my personalized approach.

You’re in the driver’s seat and I’m here to cheer you on.

To your success!

What they say about me?

  • "I've been training with Keirsten for the last year and a half and look forward to our twice a week training sessions. To sum it up in a few words, Keirsten is awesome! Not only is she pleasant to be around, she's also amazing at what she does. Since working with her, I’ve seen great results in terms of gaining muscle strength and definition. Keirsten is smart, organized, reliable, and conscientious. She's extremely thoughtful with her training, putting much thought into my workout sequence and which muscle groups to target in which order. She's very good at demonstrating new positions and clearly conveys constructive feedback on my form, ensuring that I perform moves correctly and free from injury. She's also very knowledgeable on muscle anatomy and is always able to explain to me in physiological terms why I'm sore or experiencing pain. Since working with Keirsten, in addition to being more toned, I’ve gained a new level awareness of my body and have much more confidence to try new workout routines. I highly recommend her and plan to continue to work with her as long as she'll let me!"

  • “Keirsten Wingo is an extraordinary trainer. She made our sessions both fun and rewarding. Under her guidance, I became both strong and fit. As an unenthusiastic exerciser, Keirsten's charm, dictionary words and friendship transformed exercise to an invigorating fun time. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who is looking to kick-start his or her physical fitness. Keirsten is adorable, encouraging and plain old fun.”

  • “Working with Keirsten Wingo is one of the best decisions I've made to achieve my health goals. She has somehow figured out a way to motivate me without me wanting to kill her. She stays positive, she stays focused, she knows when to push me further and she knows when I'm about to give out. And I am constantly amazed at the quantity and variety of exercises she has me do - NEVER repetitious. I have gotten so much stronger both with my cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength and I know I would not have if not for Keirsten.”
